Dubai, UAE — The Photovoltaic Industrial Technology Cluster (FETEK), represented by Skirmantė Baležentienė, presented Lithuania’s fast-growing photovoltaic (PV) and renewable energy ecosystem at WETEX Dubai 2025, one of the most influential global platforms for clean energy and sustainability.
Speaking during the EU–UAE renewable energy dialogue, Skirmantė highlighted how Lithuania’s PV sector has evolved from research-based origins into a thriving innovation ecosystem, uniting PV manufacturers, EV charger developers, battery storage producers, and digital renewable energy solution providers.
The session featured key leaders including H.E. Maria AlQassim (UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism), H.E. Lucie Berger (EU Ambassador to the UAE), and Ms. Fatima AlHajri (UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade), underlining the growing cooperation between EU and UAE renewable energy industries.
“FETEK represents the synergy between research and industry that drives innovation in Lithuania’s clean energy landscape,” said Skirmantė Baležentienė. “Our goal is to connect Lithuanian technologies with international partners and accelerate the global energy transition.”
