On May 15-16, our coordinator, PROTECH, participated in the IBC4EU project‘s General Assembly meeting held at KALYON‘s state-of-the-art facilities in Ankara, Turkey. 🏢✨
This meeting marked a significant milestone as the project reached its halfway point, showcasing the first visible results of next-generation PV technology developments. PROTECH’s involvement reinforced our commitment to driving innovation within the Lithuanian PV industry.
The tour of KALYON’s integrated PV production facility was a highlight. Witnessing the advanced processes from mono-Si ingot pulling and wafering to solar cell production and PV module implementation was truly inspiring.
Despite the current challenges in European PV manufacturing, the meeting was highly encouraging. It was evident that there is a strong interest in investing in advanced PV products and equipment, particularly those targeting IBC-based PV production. KALYON’s resilience and continuous innovation, even in tough times, set a high standard for the industry. 💪🌟
This experience has strengthened our resolve to focus on innovation, ensuring the Lithuanian PV industry remains competitive in the renewable energy sector. We are excited about the future and our continued contributions to the IBC4EU project, driving forward the future of PV technologies together! 🚀🔋
